BIFA 2017 - Winners Announced

The winners of this year's British Independent Film Awards were announced at a ceremony in London last night. 

United Agents are delighted to announce that Alice Birch won Best Screenplay for Lady Macbeth. The film which was directed by William Oldroyd won a whopping five awards including Best Actress for Florence Pugh. 

Also a winner on the night was In Another Life, written and directed by Jason Wingard. This powerful film won the prestigious Discovery Award which is sponsored by Raindance. 

Plus Nicole Stafford won Best Hair & Make-up for the fantastic The Death Of Stalin.
