BIFA 2017 nominations announced

The nominations for the 2017 British Independent Film Awards have been announced, with UA clients being recognised in several categories.

Nominated in the Best Make-up & Hair Design category we’re thrilled to have three clients nominated; Jan Sewell for Breathe, Nicole Stafford for The Death of Stalin and Nadia Stacey for Journeyman.

Adam Lawrence has been nominated for Most Promising Newcomer, sponsored by The London Edition for his work in the biographical drama England Is Mine.

David Charap has been nominated in the Best Editing category for his work in Jawbone.

The stunning God’s Own Country is nominated in a total of 6 categories including Best British Independent  Film, with our Director of Photography Joshua James Richards and Costume Design by Sian Jenkins.

Jason Wingard has been nominated for The Discovery Award for his feature In Another Life.

Finally, the incredible Lady Macbeth; written by Alice Birch and Directed by William Oldroyd is nominated for in an astonishing 15 categories, including The Douglas Hickox Award for Debut Director for William and Debut Screenwriter Award for Alice.
