BBC Two's King Lear

The one off adaptation of Shakespeare’s King Lear is to be aired on BBC2 this bank holiday Monday at 9:30pm. Richard Eyre’s modern-dress version looks to be a star-studded and shocking depiction of one of Shakespeare’s best loved plays. Featuring Andrew Scott as Edger, John Standing as Butler and Anthony Calf as the Duke of Albany. With Production Design by Peter Francis and music by Stephen Warbeck.
