BARBER SHOP CHRONICLES opens at the National Theatre

Directed by Bijan Sheibani, Barber Shop Chronicles opens tonight at the National Theatre, starring Kwami Odoom and featuring lighting design by Jack Knowles. Set in six different barber shops in London, Johannesburg, Harare, Kampala, Lagos and Accra, Barber Shop Chronicles celebrates a location where generations of African men have gathered around the globe to discuss the world - a place that is a hub of news, confession, politics, sport and banter.

Barber Shop Chronicles runs at the Dorfman until 8th July, and at the West Yorkshire Playhouse from 12th - 29th July.
