Adam Mars-Jones shortlisted for PEN Ackerley Prize 2016!

Adam Mars-Jones has been shortlisted for the PEN Ackerley Prize 2016, for his memoir about his father, KID GLOVES. The prize is awarded to a literary autobiography of excellence, for which it is felt that J.R. Ackerley would have expressed enthusiasm. KID GLOVES has been described as 'moving, lucid and frequently hilarious' by the Guardian and 'ingeniously constructed and full of insight' by the TLS. 

The winner will be announced on Tuesday 12 July at a special prize event at the Free Word Centre. Read more about the prize here
