Mick Collins is a writer and journalist, having spent the last decade writing about sport for the Mail on Sunday, and prior to that, the Sunday Telegraph. He acted as story consultant for series 2 of ‘Silk’, and wrote an episode for series 3.

He has written the following books: Chasing the Chariot (Mainstream Publishing); All Round Genius (Aurum Press) Nominated for the British Sports Book Awards sports book of the year; Roy of the Rovers – the unofficial biography, and has also has numerous newspaper and magazine credits, including World Cups, Olympic Games and many major sporting events over the last 10 years.

On radio he has appeared as a guest on several radio stations, from TalkSport to 5Live and the Today programme, and spent two years presenting sports programmes on BBC London.
