Lucy Pearman is a BAFTA nominated comedian and actor. She was also nominated for Best Newcomer in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.

Lucy will soon be seen in a lead role in series 2 of the BBC's THE MIND OF HERBERT CLUNKERDUNK (Tiger Aspect). The first series received a fantastic reception and followed a successful pilot, which was nominated for a BAFTA. The series can be seen on iPlayer and aired BBC Two.

Lucy's BBC Three pilot – PLEASE HELP - has excitingly just been nominated for  BAFTA for Best Short Form Programme! Lucy created, wrote and stars in the BBC Threesome. It’s pulled in glowing reviews so far across the board, with a fantastic 4 ****  from Chortle - “The BBC really ought to pounce on this imaginative, hilarious premise and sign Pearman up for a series immediately.” Watch it here

Lucy played the lead role of Jemma in the six part BBC Two comedy series, MISTER WINNER, which received lovely write-ups. Lucy also recently starred in Dave’s RED DWARF feature-length special – one of their highest rated shows ever.

In late 2019, Lucy featured on two episodes of HARRY HILL'S CLUB NITE on Channel 4. Watch her hilarious sets here and here

You can watch Lucy's brilliant new short-form comedy series produced by Baby Cow, THE TRAIN, here. The show is a warm, moving sitcom-  where small things become big things in the awkward, confined and quite public space of a commuter train. The series also stars renowned comedians Tim Key and Kiell Smith-Bynoe.

Lucy has just filmed a role in SMOTHERED for Sky, which will likely air in 2023.

Lucy recently performed a hilarious set on Dave's LIVE AT THE MOTH CLUB, which appears in the third episode of the series (watch here). The show was described as “A perfect ode to comedy” by Pick Of The Day

In 2019, Lucy took her show, BAGGAGE, to the Soho theatre for a sell-out run. See below for reviews for the show from the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2019.

'Pearman is otherworldly' .. 'She’s got us hooked.' ★★★★ Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

'Spending an hour in Pearman's world is a true delight' ★★★★ The List

'Irreverent and big-hearted, Baggage invites us all to be more courageous, in an uplifting performance that leaves its audience mildly baffled but topped up with humanity—lovely!' ★★★★ British Theatre Guide

You may get wet, hopefully through tears of laughter or from other spoiler free reasons." ★★★★ RGM

'There is much joy to be had in Pearman's dedication to warmth and emotional connection through absurdity and very silly costumes." ★★★★ The Skinny

She took her critically acclaimed show FRUIT LOOP to the Edinburgh Festival in 2018 and then to the Soho Theatre for two sell-out runs. Reviews for FRUIT LOOP:

‘Lucy Pearman is oxymoronic in that she is a niche for everyone. Her bizarre character comedy is one of the most unique acts at the Fringe but almost anyone who goes in to see her will surely be delighted by her work’ ★★★★★ Broadway Baby

‘There isn’t a face in the room without a smile plastered across it, and the audience practically squirm in their desire to be picked to participate in a show in which they are the central characters’  ★★★★ The Skinny

‘Lucy Pearman is fast evolving into one of the daftest and most delightful comedians on the Fringe’ ★★★★ The Telegraph

'It's an absolute delight; a bundle of winsomely funny scenes delivered with welcoming charm and infectious commitment' ★★★★ Chortle

'Lucy Pearman is quickly becoming the go-to comic for all things weird, wonderful and fruit 'n' veg related... Spending an hour in Pearman's world is a true delight and one that you'll be glad to have left the hubbub of the Fringe for' ★★★★ The List

Her debut full-hour show MAID OF CABBAGE at the 2017 Edinburgh Festival was nominated for the lastminute.com Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer and the show has since had two sell-out runs at the Soho Theatre. Reviews for MAID OF CABBAGE:

'There’s a disconcerting energy about Lucy Pearman, which makes it almost impossible not to laugh.' ★★★★ The Scotsman

'Blooming marvellous.' ★★★★ Fest Mag

'Her timing and delivery as the maid ensure that the room is laughing for the whole hour.' ★★★★ The Wee Review

★★★★ The Times

★★★★ Three Weeks

Also in 2017, Lucy starred in the 5 star smash hit musical comedy PROM KWEEN. Reviews for PROM KWEEN:

"Prom Kween is a high energy production that sashays its way through it’s all too short hour.  Very cleverly written and performed with real class, if you can stop laughing (and dancing and singing along) you’ll see a beautiful and inspirational message hiding behind all those dazzling sequins."  ★★★★★ Theatre Weekly

"This is an affectionate parody that’s funny, political and life-affirming at the same time, a delight from start to finish."  Evening Standard

She performed her first solo 2016 Edinburgh show, CRACK IN PROGRESS, to great reviews. Reviews for CRACK IN PROGRESS:

'It’s sweet and charming and uplifting, and frankly you’ll be hard pressed to find better company than all round good egg Pearman.' ★★★★★ The Good Review

"It’s mad. It’s brilliant. It’s brave and I can’t think of anyone on the fringe doing anything like it." Funny Women
