Jim Weedon started out as an award-winning commercials editor, working with such distinguished talent as Ridley Scott, Oliver Stone, Jonathan Glazier and Joe Carnahan.

At this time he was approached to work on Gladiator -  both on the general Visual FX, and on specific scenes (the Elysian Field sequences). Gladiator went on to win an Oscar for Best Visual FX.

Taking this forward, Jim moved into directing through RSA FIlms where he won awards including BBC Best New Director for his short film There Was A Man (starring Jessica Hynes). It went on to win every major advertising award in 2009/10.

Jim's Motor Neurone Disease commercial was banned from television, as the imagery was deemed too contentious.

Jim is currently in development on several feature length projects.
