About

Frisky and Mannish (aka Laura Corcoran and Matthew Floyd Jones) are a musical comedy cabaret duo who stormed the Edinburgh Fringe with their sell-out debut SCHOOL OF POP in 2009, and its smash-hit sequels THE COLLEGE YEARS in 2010 and POP CENTRE PLUS in 2011. They head to Edinburgh again this year with their latest show, EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES.

Following a sellout run on London's Southbank at the Udderbelly, and an appearance on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show, POP CENTRE PLUS sold out at Edinburgh Fringe 2011.

They met while studying at Oxford University and began writing and performing together in 2008, building up a loyal following for their residency at the Leicester Square Theatre.

SCHOOL OF POP, THE COLLEGE YEARS and POP CENTRE PLUS have all toured the United Kingdom, and the pair have taken their unique brand of twisted pop to the Sydney Opera House, the Melbourne Comedy Festival, the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, the New Zealand International Arts Festival and the World Fringe in Perth, as well as appearances in New York, Berlin and Singapore.

They were nominated for a Chortle Award for 'Best Music or Variety Act' in 2010.

"One of the funniest acts I've ever had on my show/" Scott Mills, Radio 1.

"Simon Cowell would struggle to fault Frisky & Mannish." **** The Evening Standard

“Unerringly sharp and upbeat from start to finish, this is a gold-star masterclass in the mechanics and semantics of pop.”  ****Mail on Sunday

“The most fun you can have on the Fringe without chemicals… There ain’t no party like an F&M party!” *****Chortle

“Such glittering panache… the atmosphere is more redolent of a flashy turn by Lady Gaga than your average comedy club night.” Telegraph

“Generation X Factor have found their perfect comedy duo.” Guardian
