Amy and Julie Zhang are Chiwi (‘Chinese Kiwi’) sisters who are bonded by their loves of eating, family, and home-cooked food. 
 
From a young age Amy and Julie have served up crowd-pleasing Chinese food from the family’s food cart, which is still going strong after twenty years. As The Dumpling Sisters, they share recipes and adventures on their website and YouTube channel. Their original video recipe for boozy hoisin chicken, self-shot and edited, placed second out of over 250 entries in Jamie Oliver’s worldwide Search for a Food Tube Star. In Jamie’s own words, “The Dumpling Sisters are super cute, they know how to cook, they’ve got good flavours goin’ on!" 
 
The sisters’ style of cooking is rooted in their great respect and love for traditional Chinese food. At the same time, they allow their diverse upbringing, extensive travels, and naturally inquisitive natures to shape Chinese dishes that feature a Dumpling Sister twist.
