Damien is currently working with Mark Healy developing THE MORRIGAN with Playground Entertainment and DANWORTH Vs DANWORTH with ITV.

Having trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama and Moscow Art Theatre, he enjoyed a successful career as an actor before becoming a writer/director in 2006.

His short films LIFT and BREAKTHROUGH screened at many international festivals including LA, San Fransisco and Clermont and he has directed over 50 episodes of HOLLYOAKS for C4 working on a number of award winning storylines. His work at SIDE UK as a performance capture and VO director for video games includes: DRAGON AGE INQUISITION (winner of best game 2014); Tom Clancy’s THE DIVISION as well as LONDON HEIST, one of the first VR games for Sony's project, Morpheus.

He developed the drama series THE WRONG KIND OF SNOW (Monkey Kingdom and ITV) and THE JOY OF EX (Rainmark Films) as well as factual series THE AUDIENCE with The Garden and C4, nominated for a BAFTA and winning a Broadcast International Sales Award selling to 15 countries around the world. His plays include: MY CHEKHOV (BAC, Tristan Bates Theatre and USA tour); THE UNKNOWN (Theatre and Beyond, Komedia Brighton) and MASTER OF SUSPENSE.
