Aimee Rowling

Aimee has developed and was EP on CATCH ME A KILLER, a 10 x 60’ true crime thriller for Fired Up Films and the South African broadcaster M-Net. She is also a freelance development producer working with Fired Up Films and Atlantic Nomad, founded by Film Exec Jamie Carmichael and TV Showrunner Simon Mirren.

Prior to this she was Head of Development at Bentley Productions, where she oversaw several series of MIDSOMER MURDERS for ITV and developed and script exec’d HARRY PRICE: GHOSTHUNTER, written by Jack Lothian, an original 1 x 120’ drama for ITV.

Before joining Bentley, Aimee worked on the critically acclaimed Neal Street/BBC1 hit show CALL THE MIDWIFE as Script Editor on Series 2 in 2012 and Series 3 in 2013.

Following a brief spell in factual programming at ITV Studios and Maverick TV, Aimee joined TV Producer Jake Lushington at Marcus Evans Entertainment (now World Productions) in 2009 where she developed and script edited THE BLETCHLEY CIRCLE written by Guy Burt, a 3 x 60’ period crime drama for ITV1 which was broadcast in 2012 and went on to be commissioned for a second series.

Aimee is a graduate of Newcastle University with a degree in English Literature and she also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from The College of Law. Aimee started her career at The Agency in 2003 as Assistant to literary agent Bethan Evans and in 2006 moved to Maverick TV where she became Development Assistant to the Head of Drama Juliette Howell, developing shows alongside Tom Harper and Ben Stoll.
